Australian Travel Ramps Australian Adventure

I constantly need ramps for; entering my bus, visiting friends, going out for dinner, business trips, loading into a pick-up, transferring from a wharf to a boat.....Very rarely do I go anywhere without a ramp!

The door of my bus is a ramp, this is how I get in and out of my bus. I also use the inside of the door as a portable ramp. I can slide it out when there is something small to negotiate, like a couple of stairs into a restaurant.

My large portable ramp is stored in my trailer and I take it whenever I go away on a trip with my bus. I use it for situations where a stable ramp is required to negotiate obstacles to the height of approximately 100 cm. It is especially good in situations where there is movement, because it doesn't spread apart and remains stable. For example; transferring from a pontoon to a boat or to replace 4 stairs when I'm staying somewhere for a week.

My small portable ramps are for traveling by plane, when we need to physically carry the ramps a distance or for a quick fix. They easily hold my weight with wheelchair and can negotiate obstacles to the same height as my large ramp but are not as stable.
